At the Lausitz Rally, the 94 teams face eight demanding special stages on the former opencast mine area around Boxberg, which are run almost entirely on gravel. From natural grandstands, spectators can follow metre-long jumps over artificially created crests or the drivers' spectacular drifts up close.
On Friday at 15:38 the teams will start in front of the Boxberg municipal administration. Afterwards the Sprey circuit will be run twice. Six further special stages are scheduled for Saturday. At 9:09 the rally will continue with WP Mulkwitz 1. Reichwalde 2 will mark the finale. At 17:34 the top three in each class will receive their trophies in front of the Boxberg municipal administration.
