This BMW 325iX is a historic Group N rally car, driven in the 1991 Spanish Rally Championship by renowned racer Jose María Ponce and co-driver José Carlos Deniz.
This car was one of two driven by Ponce for the Bmw Sauermann team in the 1991 season, and it was with which they were proclaimed champions of Spain, after finish tenth overall
in the 1991 Rally de Catalunyascoring for the world championship.
The car would make an intriguing and storied addition to any collection of motorsport stars, and
with a valid FIA Historic Technical Passport it is a great candidate for historic rally events.
It features a Group N rally pack, including Bilstein upgraded shock absorbers, Ferodo
racing brake pads, Sparco seats with Sabelt harnesses, a roll cage, an uprated exhaust
and a limited-slip differential.
Accompanying the vehicle are its FIA Historic Technical Passport and homologation
book sheet, along with a raft of photographs documenting its life as an active rally car.
